Core Competencies

All candidates for the Graduate Certification in College Teaching Program must demonstrate their development and mastery of five teaching core competencies: Developing Discipline-Related Teaching Strategies, Creating Effective Learning Environments, Incorporating Technology into the Classroom, Understanding the University Context, and Assessing Student Learning.
